Our family operated farming and milling business occupies 138 acres in Eastern Ontario, 35 miles south of Ottawa and about 20 miles north of the St. Lawrence River. Mountain Path has been strictly committed to organic production since 1975, and certified organic since 1987. At the heart of our operation is the original Stone Mill with which we began grinding organic flour in 1982. The Mill itself, and our Mountain Path milled grains, are certified by O.C.P.P, the Organic Crop Producers & Processors Inc, an international third party certifier based in Canada with clients throughout the world.

Whenever possible, we buy locally in an effort to support regional organic agriculture and business–many of the grains we mill are grown right here in the Ottawa Valley. This includes new varieties of Hard Spring Wheat which often rival their prairie counterparts in quality. Thanks to our own pioneering efforts in organic farming and milling, the number of local farmers who are now organic has considerably increased over the years and continues to grow. That makes the environment safer, and increases awareness in the community. Support local producers and they will be here to supply and support us in future.

Mountain Path distributes it's organic milled grains and other certified organic products to bakeries, restaurants, and health food stores in and around Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec, and Northern New York State.
